A drone is an indispensable aircraft in today’s life. Drones make many of our jobs easier. By using it we can take pictures of various natural beauty. The scenery taken from the sky is much more beautiful. In many cases, drones are also used in the field of investigation. There is no alternative to drones to quickly capture an area. What is this drone? A drone is a type of aircraft without a pilot. Drones can be very small or large in shape. Radio signals are used to operate or control these aircraft. The driver has a type of transmitter in his hands and the receiver inside the drone. Commands from the transmitter reach the receiver on the drone through radio signals. Drones are used in videography, rescue, search, transport and agriculture sectors, and military and border security. It is also of immense importance in the field of meteorological research. Long-range drones are capable of flying over 4,00 miles and up to 3,000 feet. Its signal remains intact even at such a distance. A variety of small drone parts are available for purchase. I bought these parts and built a drone at home. What are the parts of the drone and what are its functions, I have discussed these in detail below.
Parts of Drone: Every part of the drone is very important. These parts areā¦
Brushless Motor:

The drone depends on air to rise up. Brushless motors and propellers are required in this case. The brushless motor is small in size but has a lot of power. These motors can rotate around 40000 times per minute. I used A2212 1000KV brushless motor to build this drone. The dimension of these motors is 27.8 x 27mm and the shaft diameter is 3.17mm. Its maximum efficiency is 80%. A propeller is provided with these 10-volt motors. Also provided are a motor mount, a clip, and four screws. Each motor is priced at Rs 469. Four such motors are required to make a drone.
Propellers:

I have used 1045 propellers in these brushless motors. Each drone has four propellers. two rotates clockwise and other two propellers rotates anti-clockwise. These propellers are 10 inches long. According to the structure, the shape of the clockwise and anti-clockwise propeller is different. These propellers are available in 5 different colors. Black, Red, Yellow, Green, and Orange.
Brushless ESC:

The full form of ESC is electronic speed control. The propellers need to be increased or decreased to raise and lower the drone. This ESC does the job of controlling the speed of the motor. I used 30A ESC from Simonk company. Its 16KHZ motor frequency response is the fastest. Each ESC weighs 25 grams. Four such ESCs are required for four motors. Each ESC is priced at Rs 499.
Quadcopter Drone Frame:

A structure is needed to build drones. This special frame for drones is very light and strong. Drone frames with four propellers look like plus (+) signs. Motors are fitted on each head and the flight control board, batteries, etc. are in the middle part. This frame is made of high-quality glass fiber and ultra-durable polyamide nylon. The drone frame I used is a DJI F450 model. The price of this frame is Rs.749.
LCD Flight Control Board:

I used KK 2.1.5 LCD flight control board in this drone. This board is usually used for racing drones. The control board is usually fitted in the middle of the frame. It has an LED display. Through which software installation and setup is easier. The flight control board I used is 51*51mm. Its weight is 21 grams. The input voltage of this board is 4.8 to 12v. I bought this flight control board for Rs.4749.
Transmitter with FS-iA6B Receiver:

When the aircraft is flying in the sky, it must be controlled by standing on the ground. For this, I used a transmitter and receiver from the Fly Sky company. The transmitter is on hand, and the receiver is fitted to the drone. The receiver on the drone receives the instructions from the transmitter. And accordingly, the speed and direction of the boat is controlled. The transmitter is an important component in flying drones, and running toy boats. Multirotor cannot be flown or controlled without a transmitter. Because it uses wireless radio signals to send commands to a radio receiver, Which is connected to the aircraft. I used a flysky brand FS-i6 2.4G 6 CH PPM RC transmitter and FS-iA 6B receiver to control this drone. This transmitter is beautiful and fits very nicely in the hand. Its weight is 400 grams. It has three switches. The receiver has 6 channels. Which has a range of 500 meters. The transmitter has dual antennas. This system has a unique ID. Through which the signal is accepted only from this transmitter. This transmitter is 6 volts and the receiver is 4.0 to 8.4 volts. The receiver weighs 14.9 grams. The company provides 6 months warranty for this product. That is above the manufacturing defect. I bought this product online. Its price is 4975 rupees. The online buying link is given below.
Battery:

In this quadcopter, I used a lithium polymer battery. If the weight of the drone is light, it flies very well in the sky. Lithium polymer batteries are much lighter. That’s why I used this battery in the drone. This battery is 3500 mAh and 11.1 volts. This 3-cell battery is specially designed for use in drones and multi-rotors.
How to Make:

First we fit the motors through the screws in the arms of the frame. Then I fit the ESC into the middle of the arms and connected it to the motor. Thus, when the four arms are ready, I fit them to the middle plate and connect the wires to the plate using a welder. Then I fit the battery in the middle and fit the other plate on it. I fitted the flight control board to the upper part in the middle of the frame. I also fitted the receiver next to the flight control board. Then connected the wires to the specified plugs. Then I fit the propellers into the motor. The flight control board has certain settings, set them correctly. Finally, it is ready to fly.
